Due to the tight election today and worries over reactions to the French newspaper, the Embassy will be closed tomorrow. I'm waiting to find out what I'm supposed to do about school for Zack. I will probably keep him home regardless of what security personnel say.
Updates:
We've been assured that schools will be completely safe tomorrow. Most of the trouble is at the consulate in East Java and the Jakarta closure is just a precaution. So as of right now I plan to take Zack to school in the morning. Honestly, his school is safer and more secure than our compound. So we're just treating this like a long weekend and praying that all will be well.
